Something or nothing
I don’t come here as often as I used to. Why? Well…. I’m trying to live a little less plugged in. Sure, I check email each day and spend a few minutes here or there, but in general, I try to read more or sing more or play with the kids more or cook more or…. eat ice cream. I am also spending time looking for work. Times are tough and our family is really feeling the crunch. So maybe I figure no one wants to hear about that stuff. It is daily life. We all have that.
I do miss reading about all of you or seeing you silly jokes or whatever. I’ve “met” some fun people here. I do miss seeing you and hearing about you. Maybe you even miss me. I don’t know. At any rate, I’m doing well. The girls are both back to school and doing well. Hubby and I would like some jobs. Otherwise, everything is going forward and doing fine.

I miss you bunches. I have been working 2 hours drive from home the past 5 weeks… The long days make it hard to surf the net, especially when all the other things in life take precidence. Maybe someday we will have a little lull in life and get together for some Scramble or something!

I miss you too… FB is ok but it isn’t as personal or detailed , but at least it is something… good luck to you with finding work… it is rough out there and lots of people have it hard now… I miss my friends here too… so many have left and then i just haven’t had much time to spend online! ((((((hugs))))))
I hope you find some jobs soon. What grades are your girls in now? My grandson is a high school jr. and his little sister is in 4th grade. They live next door to us.
The others are in 6th and 2nd grades.
@ata_grandma - I have a freshman (9th grade) and a 6th grader.
@beadbrat - I know what you mean. I like that I can do short little things on FB and feel like I’ve said SOMETHING.
@Aloysius_son - Scramble makes my eyes go bleary. HA How about Scrabble or….um….that is pretty much all I play. hahaha I’m kinda boring!
I’ve always made do with less but you have your children to (spoil) raise. I am ridiculously behind in my xanga correspondence but hey we didn’t sign any contract….
When life throws things away, hopefully they either get buried permanently or recycled creatively….
