I’ve been gone longer than I anticipated. Sorry. So here is just a quick bullet list of what has gone on.
- Paid the bills
- Threw a suprise birthday party for hubby
- His birthday is still a month away! Thus the surprise
- Had a picnic in the park for the last day of school
- Went to a concert with my oldest daughter
- Friends of ours from our congregation were the performers
- Attended a graduation
- Took one nap
- Mailed out several graduation cards
- Did the laundry and dishes
- Watched Princess Bride again
- Had fun with the family
Altogether fun stuff. I’ve got more coming up too. But it is summer time. Time for schedules to supposedly be a little less busy and to have lots of fun. It is also time for me to moan and whine about the weather. It is HOT already. Booo… I miss the snow.

I don’t miss the snow at all… we don’t get done with school til the 16th of June… we are opening the pool… will go to a parade tomorrow! there now we’re all caught up in a most non creepy way!
It looked like it was snowing outside our window today, but it was cotton from a huge very prolific cottonwood tree.

i miss the snow, but that might be because i do not get to see much of it…we are getting pretty dry & toasty here, too. no real for several days, 90′s for high & 70′s for low temps. hubby is trying to make it rain by running the irrigation system…
Isn’t it funny that we miss the weather we don’t have, but when we have it, we don’t like it? Here in Denmark this morning it is a cool 55 degrees with blue skies! Nice! Although, it could cloud over in a few minutes and be pouring, I will take the sunshine when we can get it! It rained all day yesterday. Hope you have something special planned for today!
